Skidompha Library

Skidompha Library needed to blend or integrate its modern addition to the original building. The new construction created a protected outdoor space. The challenge was to extend the same energy within the building to the outside.


This outdoor space now includes seating for reading and enough room for other passive uses while maintaining its purpose of connecting the two buildings.

During this project, a children's reading garden was designed and added to the building near the children's library..
